In the Albemarle Sound, I fish Manns Harbor and many rivers including the Chowan River, Perquimans River, Pasquotank River, Little River, North River. Charter trips are also available throughout the Currituck Sound in North Carolina and in the Hot Ditch area of the Elizabeth River in Virginia.
Where I fish depends on when the fish are biting and what areas that my customers are interesting in fishing. We can always fish for any species you like but I will make recommendations on what to target depending on current season and weather conditions.
Just like boats moving up and down the intracoastal waterway in North Carolina, the fish move around too. They move in and out of the different areas depending on the seasons. We know the different hot spots to find them depending on the time of year. Much of the fishing you will do with Captain Jeff will be on the intracoastal waterways.
In the Albemarle Sound area there are two very productive bridges I like to fish, the Albemarle Sound Bridge and Manns Harbor Bridge. Both structures can provide excellent bottom fishing and striped bass fishing year round.
There is nothing better than a good day of speckled trout fishing on light tackle.
Inshore fishing charters are great fun for not only adults, but kids too!
